About the Role

We are recruiting a Year 2 Teacher for a new British international school in Fallujah.

This role focuses on consolidating core skills and preparing students for KS2, ensuring strong academic foundations in literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Prepare students for transition into KS2.
• Strengthen reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
• Assess progress and provide targeted support.
• Maintain a structured and engaging classroom.
• Work closely with parents and uphold safeguarding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subject.
• QTS is essential.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching KS1.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.

Desirable

• Phonics and SATs preparation experience.
• International teaching experience.
• Ability to raise attainment levels.
